Pictures Of Us

Post by Gem35 »

I thought it would be a good idea to get a "pictures of us" thread going.
Plenty of us from around the globe here at the best gaming forum.
I'll start us off, I am 39 and was born and raised in Chicago, relocated to Texas 4 years ago.[8D]

It doesn't make any sense, Admiral. Were we better than the Japanese or just luckier?

Sorry, Gem. You were serious, I know. [:D]

I'm 41, originally from Baltimore, but I moved to NC after my Navy days and married a Carolina girl.

Here's one of my favorite pictures, from the best day of my life, 3 years ago. [8D]

Well, the only pic I have within reach here at work is my official foto on the company staff photo roster. I'm 34, from Marburg/Germany, now living near Paris/France.

Hey Rave, don't you still owe the WitP community a pic of your rear? Darn, can't find that particular thread - search function is down... [;)]

Well, Laurent got a new gf, an EXTREMELY intense work environment (something about having to personally ensure that the employer recoups five billion euros or something similar), coupled with even more intense mountain climbing and spelunking adventures to decompress. He still exists, but we have only done 13 turns since early March (the latest a month ago) and that would have been considered a slow week last year. I assume that he is fine (at least he survived his major May cave expedition) but life in the real world finally caught up with him.

BTW, you will win your PBEM against him eventually... [:)]
