Sorry.  I should know better....   I drink lots of strong tea when I'm playing WitP, it's like being in India [:D]  Except without the jungle.  Or the wildlife.  Or the humidity.  Or the Nips shooting at me.  Or trying to bomb me.  And with better food.  The postal service is just as bad though...

Where ya from? Elm Grove Wisconsin here...

To New Glarus [&o][&o][&o]

Actually they couldn't even meet demand in Wisconsin. They just doubled the size of their Brewery and expanded from 35 employees to 60. Hoping they are able to produce enough to expand outside the state and become regionally recognized. The Brewery is only like 10 years old. Of course only if they don't sacrifice quality.[:-]

Regular Coke or Spotted Cow... which happens to be an amazing beer... only sold in wisconsin at this point.

Hi, New Glarus makes some very good brews.....it's nice being only 35 minutes from Hudson.

Anything by Dogfish ale (especially one of their IPA's). Single malt if I'm beating Sprior (Usually I drink water playing him).

i had a friend who is a beer officiando and we used to find "strange" beers (from different microbreweries) and try them out... Dogfish Ale was so vile he poured his out, i had to literally choke down any swallows of it... we immediately renamed it Dogsh!t Ale... of course, maybe it was a couple of bad bottles, but i refuse to try it again (so far)...[:D]

Dogfish is extremely hoppy , and very definately an aquired taste. If you like the British style ales, you might work up to it. If you perfer German or American lagers , I promise that you will loath it.

I had to work up to them , and I've been drinking British ales (especially IPA's) since 1983. If you don't like ales with descriptions such as "double IPA", "Imperial IPA" , or similar handles, giving a larger drink a dogfish is like offerring a 13 year old a martini or a neat single malt--the taste buds just are not trained.[:D]

Hmmm.... while i am not a big fan of IPAs, my friend WAS (probably still is) a fan of them... so maybe it was a pair of bad bottles.

Hi, I think you nailed it when you said you might have had 2 bad bottles. My bro lives in Maryland and Dogfish has a resturant/brewhouse by his house. It's always the first place we go after he picks us up from Dulles. If you really want to give the taste buds a work out you need to try Dogfishes 18% Raspberry Wheat....goes down real smooth after a couple of hours of snow blowing during the winter.

Flanyboy, I'm in St Paul so Hudsons not to far away. New Glaru's Raspberry Tart Beer is a wonderful after dinner beer. It goes great with a piece of cheese cake.

i'd describe it more as a bit squirrely, but perhaps that is redundant. [:'(]

Squirrely is normal.  Twitchy is when I have too much coffee. (Like today.  I've been drinking coffee pretty much all day. [X(])
