This one is a 1/250 scale Dyoshu -I have just bought the 1/200 scale nichimo - and have started a 1/100 scratch built one as well.

This one took 3 months to build

Bit of a yamato freak Im afraid...................

Nicely done.

I've decided to get back into the modeling hobby after 20+ years. For my first project I choose the Revel 1/96 USS Constitution. I've been working on it about 30-60 minutes a day for the past two months and I figure I'll be starting the first steps in the rigging process towards the last of next week.

Looks like I've found my next project, one of the Yamatos.

Oh, BTW, Roll Tide, too.  We had a pretty good run against Penn State in the 80s, although we did drop a couple.

hgilmer - just noticed you were from B'ham. Glad to have you aboard!

I'll say. You knocked that othe bike rider clear out of the picture.

I plead extenuating circumstances. He claimed to be a Tech fan.

This is me before I went under the knife to have the traffic hazzard sign removed. It didn't really hurt that much but when I turn my head a certain way on windy days...wow, that is annoying.

Tux is for my daughter's homecoming queen thingy. I cropped her out to control "preverts". [:'(]

Here is one of me last year in the Keys!

Image

Is that Pennycamp or maybe Looe Key?

It could be Looe...we normally start there to "warm" up the ones that haven't dove in a while before moving on to something more exciting...

Hummm......

Could it be the command ball cap in the back-ground?
Could it be the haircut?
Could it be the "History of the United States Navy" book, still in a sealed bag, on the top of the bookcase?
Could it be that nucs just look like nucs? [;)]

Good to see that there are some divers on the forum. Here is a couple of Santa's evil elves spotted while vacationing near Fiji in 2007. This became our Christmas card last year.
