Movement bug

Post by willgamer »

Did more checking on what I posted in the main thread as a possible movement bug. Since it is easily reproducible, I believe it is a bug.

Start the '62 scenario as Conf.

On your turn, take a leader by himself starting in New Orleans and move him one region at a time tactically: New Orleans->Biloxi->Mobile. This works.

Now take a leader by himself starting in Mobile and try the reverse move. The leader cannot move from Biloxi into New Orleans.

Either something is amiss or I am missing something.[X(]

Something is amiss. I can duplicate the problem so we'll check it out.

I see this was not addressed in the patch.

Was it not a problem, after all?

Yes it was, as I was able to duplicate it. It's on our bug list but Gary didn't get to it in the first patch. It's not anything obvious like a data error. There's something strange going on when going over minor rivers.
