BOBII 2.08 is Released

Post by buddye »

For all our Matrix customers, enjoy:

http://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10951

The BOBII User Manual for 2.08 (after it is downloaded/installed) will be located in the BOBII folder in the Docs folder.

Here are some key new items to review:

1. Key Description Document -- Appendix H
2. Single Player Camapign (SPC) -- Chapter 4 Section C
3. BDG.txt -- Appendix A

Opps, I forgot two things;
1. the 2.08 Pic's that Bader uploaded

2. Legal

"This update has been brought to you by the freeware BDG (BoB Developers Group) team and A2A (was Shockwave) has had nothing to do with BOBII since the 2.06 update"

Is it me or... [&:]

Since I installed the v2.08 + the enhanced graphix mod .. the sim is so much smoother and the
AI is tweaked to its upmost perfection. Incredible! Just thinking on the experience makes the
hairs on the back of my neck stand at attention. I am so grateful for you guys doing all you can
to keep this sim as realistic and top-notch, as ever one can become.

You all truly continue to amaze me with leaps and bounds. Seriously! Best $ I have ever spent
on a flight sim. I am saving Pennies, Nickles and Dimes for my TrackIR 4 Pro now! =)

Good times! [&o]

just wait until you get on a enemies tail, fire a burst and see him go into a failing leaf, keep your eye on him, because at 1000 ft, he may just snap out of it

of course the trick is to keep your eye on him while all of his mates are eyeballing you !

ANNOUNCEMENT Sunday 13th July 2008
Our sincere apologies. An infrequent crash is being reported in AI gunner code (It can occur in missions with any movable gun [bombers, Bf110, Ju87]).
If you have such a problem, please follow this thread and update the two files contained in the small download. (bob.exe, bob.pdb)
We have been testing for a long time and this one sneaked through, unfortunately...Sorry! This is one of the risks when you add new AI features.
