Greetings, Coral Sea scenario May 1-15 Japanese
May 1st began loading transports with infantry at Rabaul for PM invasion force. Zuikaku, Shokaku, and Shoho depart Truk for Rabaul.
May 3rd Surface TF of 2 CA 2CL and 4 DD leaves Rabual with orders to follow transport TF now 120 miles south of Rabaul on way to PM. 2other transport TFs with Naval Garrison units (Buka and Buins) loading supply at Shortland one TF for Tulagi other for Lunga
May 6 CV refuel Rabaul and head south Transport TF and escort passing Gili.
May 7th PM LBA damage a CL from Transport TF, CL heads back to Rabaul others continue on

May 8th CV are 2 hexes north of Buna with 1CV fighters set to LRCAP over Transports 1CV set to 50 percent cap Shoho set to escort. Vals set to Airfield attack Kates to Ground attack.
Rabaul Nells to daylight airfield attack Betty to nightime airfield attack. Claudes and floatplane fighters move to Lae and on LRCAP. Transports begin unloading PM Surface TF changed to bombardment. During night bombadment takes place Betty attack does little.

9May CV change to Naval attack except 1 carrier on LRCAP
Lexington and Yorktown appear south of Gili, in an exchange of strikes Zuikaku isdamaged with her airgroups landing at Lae.
Lexington is hit hard with Yorktown also being hit.

10May first shock attac at PM knocks fort level to zero 450 Japanese killed 250 Allied. CV had moved 60 miles south with Zuikaku and 2 DD heading back to Rabaul. US Carrier found 90 miles south east of Gili (out of it's range to strike my CV but in range for me) Strike launched by US sinks 2 AP at PM. PM landbased air also hits transport and surface TF. IJN strike hits USN CV TF Lexington no where in sight Yorktown hit again.

11 May Shock attack kills 700 allies for 400 Japanese.
CV head back to Rabual

12 May PM captured Tulagi and Lunga also captured

13 May Tranfer Claude and Val fro Lae to PM begin flying in 8th Area HQ and baseforce. 30th Aus Bde pushed out of PM

14 May US surface force appears at Lunga and sinks AP and MSW

15 May game ends
