All the LCU units in Australia came under the control of SW pacific!!!!!!

PAYBACK time!:D

I never knew that this could be done.

Have I discovered something new?

That's a cunning plan, Nomad... In fact, it's a plan so cunning, you could put a tail on it and call it a weasel!

Well, it's not quite a new discovery. ANZAC is listed as a sub-HQ to SW Pacific, and whenever a sub-HQ is destroyed, control of its assets passes to the superior HQ. (When a superior HQ is destroyed, it's a mess!)

I don't advise that first turn strategy: ANZAC is a "controlled" HQ, meaning that its LCU's can't be loaded on ships, but also meaning severe Prep. Point penalties for things like LCU activation and relocating the HQ. (BTW, when the HQ is set to computer control, it often manages to activate multiple units without spending the PP's that a Human player would have to do.)
Civil war? What does that mean? Is there any foreign war? Isn't every war fought between men, between brothers?

When those LCU came under control of SW Pacific, I can now load them on transports and no penalties.

I am playing the AI and all those LCU at one time has made this game unbalanced in early 42.

What you can do, is not to do it if it unballences things! :)

It should be one of those House Rules, that ANZAC can never leave Brisbane, or something like that.

HRB3,

you don't know me, never played against me, i never used that tactic against youor any one else, you do not understand a joke when you see one, yet you feel free to call me a weasel?? I can think of a few good words to describe you but i will refrain.

and for you information, I still have pacwar 1.2 and I have known about that 'tactic' for many years.

Oh my, I never! Read carefully, sir. I referred to your PLAN as a weasel. I guess that makes you the daddy of a weasel, though. Ha! I can't seem to stop!:D

I can assume from this conversation, then, that you are not familiar with the Britcom Black Adder? The characters always seem to be in need of a "cunning plan." To call a plan as cunning as weasel, is the highest of complements, in a sick sort of way...

In any case, I honestly meant no offense. Regarding jokes and the recognition thereof, see more at jest, jape, gag, quip, drollery, persiflage, burlesque, repartee, jocularity, wit, prank, monkeyshine, caper...:p
