HCE Quick Start

Hi sorrry for this question but i am revisiting this game after a 10 yr plus break. When i load HCE it goes straight into a scenario and no battlesets can be seen on the menu for me to choose from. How do i solve this. Looking through the forums there appears to be be a quick start box that can be checked or not for quick starts. Is this what is causing the problem and if it is where do i find this setting so i can alter it. Sorry if this might be a bit basic but it is a long long time since i played this game and i am looking forward to getting back into it. Many thanks for your help.

Yes, the Quick Start box is the cause.

If it has already put you into a new game, just quit the current game by selecting, "New Game" from the File menu.

That will return you to the Battleset Load menu and you can de-select the "Quick Start" box. If the Quick Start is enabled by default, it might be a good idea to change that so that other noobs don't go through the same problem.
