Hi,

I'm new to this game. I played Madden for years but now that EASports has effectively dropped (most) PC games, I'm glad I found this one. It reminds me a lot of FrontPage Sports Football I played a decade ago. I'm sure you'll get a lot of ex-Madden players now that EA has pissed everybody off.

Anyway, I read somewhere on this forum about F5 through F8 changing the camera point of view, and also "found" by accident that F10 is some sort of Pause key. Is there a list of all hotkeys somewhere? I searched the manual and readme files but couldn't find anything.

Also, in QuickPlay/Coaching mode, if I select the mouse as a controller, how can I call a timeout? I tried hitting the "4" key that works in keyboard mode, but it doesn't do anything when the mouse is the controller. My mouse has two buttons and the wheel, which covers Select, Back and Flip. How about Timeout?

First off welcome to Maximum Football. Unless you have a mouse with 4 buttons (a gaming mouse) then I wouldn't play with a mouse because you can't call a timout. If you NEED to play with a mouse then I would suggest going to a computer store and getting a gaming mouse otherwise you can just use the keyboard. As far as hot keys I have no idea of what they do since I normally play arcade style with a controller.

I think you can only call a timeout with the mouse from the play select screen, a red button that has T.O. on it.

F5 - Standard behind QB view
F6 - Top down view
F7 - Press box view(angled above field)
F8 - Way up in the stadium view [:)]

F11 - Framerate counter
F12 - Screenshot(saves a bitmap to the screenshots folder(which the game creates when you take your first screen)

And Gary, you're right about the T.O. button in the play select screen.  However, I'm much more likely to call a T.O. after the play has been called, so I guess it's back to keyboard control since I don't fancy changing my mouse.  Anyway, there are other things that don't work quite right with mouse control while everything is fine on the keyboard.  I just wanted to be lazy and just click everything away.  Ah well, it's still a great game.

I agree. I prefer the mouse. I can slump back in my chair, coffee in one hand, my teams fate in the other [:D]
