units bug

Hi all, i'm a new registered user in the forum but i'm playing WITP about a year.

In my game against qwerty we experieced some units bug.

I.e. i'm playing jap side end the canton base force, a static unit, is moving around China, naw it is in Nanning and i have non possibility to order it to came back.

He, instead, has a chinese air group rebased in alaska, and every turn this unit rebase on different air base.

Anyone of you can help us?

Your opponent probably has an area under AI control (China?). The AI will not only control units in its area, but sometimes also decide that it needs units from other areas, and will move them around.

It is best to have all map areas under manual control.

some weeks ago i found a fragment unit of chinese bombers(sb2) in alaska[X(]


it was moving beetween a number of northwest coast bases(canada too),at last it has stopped to the extreme north alaskan base,it is there from 1-2 weeks

this screen has been done when it was at anchorage

china was under AI control in the early turns after pearl harbor raid,10 turns at maximum,then i took the control of china,now it's may 1942


maybe chinese immigrants???[&:]

As long as you have things AI control, you can expect stuff like this (or worse)... a warning to other neophytes who think running something under AI is ok - it can cause problems that linger far longer than you'd expect... this is relatively minor, but annoying.

If it within range, you can probably transfer the Chinese unit back through Russia... the problem is the AI will try to help with this process, and sometimes it will negate any attempts to move it in the right direction.

Other solution would be to put the fragment on a freighter, ship it to SEAsia/India, and then allow it to get back to China via that route (if it is still open).
