Hey Erik,

Yeah I after dl'ing the installer I dl'd the patch and installed both. Attatched is my DxDiag test...

I haven't tried a new game yet, so I will try that. I'm just afraid of getting to far into a game and have this sort of thing happen.

Might be newer sound drivers available, but nothing jumps out at me from your DxDiag as a problem.

You should also try turning off other background programs to see if any could be interfering. WBTS is incredibly stable on every system we've tested it with. A repeatable crash issue has to be something quite unusual going on.

Erik,

Thanks for the help, after restarting the game I haven't had any problems. I think I did have my email running in the background during that game, so maybe that is what caused the corrupt file. (I like to have my email up in windowed mode so I can see when my PBEM game of Tiller's Napoleoncs comes in :D)

After playing a couple turns, I am really enjoying this game!

I'm trying to do a PBEM and get a CTD after running the replay.  Repeatable.

Hi Crimguy,

Are you and your opponent both running the same version?

I'd suggest zipping the file up and posting it here so that Joel can take a look at it and see if it repeats for him. If you haven't already re-sent the file by e-mail, try that as well in case it was corrupted during transfer.

I had another CTD tonight! This is the first one since I re-installed the game on the 15th. I guess that my computer just doesn't like version 1.010??? Oh well, I'll wait for the next patch and see what comes of that.... Mean while, back to WWII.

I had a CTD last night that occurred while the AI was doing its move as the USA. I will try and get a game save to you guys for analysis. A similar thing happened once before I applied the patch (AI was CSA then) and the patch seemed to fix it. May be a different problem with the same characteristices and outcome. I want to play with it a bit to see if I can get around the crash, or whether I need to start over. Maybe the computer was just being nice to me -- it is kinda nasty as the CSA in 1964!
