I was looking to kill someone.. and behold! now I must kill a Easy8! :mad: my own ride!

Heres the battle..2 turns per week..(or more)

Date: Dec. 1949! Oh yeah baby!

M4 Jess: Russians (I can still buy M4s!)

Easy8: Americans

Large Map 100X120 (Random)

Weather and Vision (Random)

Points: Jess 10,000 Easy8 12,000

Arty: 20% (+-)

well..being a stupid player I had my fast-arty on and I could not see Easy8s arty size...he did throw a lot at me as my "boys" watched all rounds land harmlessly :) But hey! they did leave big holes:D I could not find any firing locals so he must have at least some OBA... I threw down a smoke screen from north to south as the vis is 49!! :eek:

If Easy8 (I think I will call him 8ball) has paras..which most players use I think he will be in for a suprise!

Back to 8ball! :cool:

Timeline - Winter, 1949

The U.S.S.R announces that it has successfully detonated an atomic bomb at its top secret weapons research facility in Siberia. Western intelligence agencies confirm results.

Soviets demand Allied forces evacuate Berlin. All access to city closed. Attempts to resolve crises diplomatically fail. Berlin airlift begins. Soviets respond with anti-aircraft fire and fighter interceptions.

West German Border Guard forces overrun by massed Soviet and Warsaw Pact forces attacking in echelon.

Gen. George Patton, fully recovered from his near fatal auto accident, assumes command of the Third Army, deployed near Fulda.

Elements of the 49th Armored Division are ordered to link up with remnants of a West German kampgruppe and counter attack in an attempt to blunt the Soviet spearhead pouring through the Fulda Gap.

The War of Re-Unification has begun!

well now....ol' Blood and Guts himself...Patton Tanks!

turn started off with a quick trade of shot between a OT-85 and a Patton..no hits range was in at least the 30s...

not much else until I flew one of my Yaks over 8balls rear to look around and MOMMA! 8ball got himself some cool toys!

I like toys!:D

M46 continued to trade shots with the OT-34 85 until rocket frie from a P-51 sends it scurrying eastward.

Lend-Lease M4 76 sighted.

Wow 8ball has jets! mean ol 8ball...still no kills, one of my M476s traded a few shots with another Patton on the north edge..no hits..8ball sure does not like my Mrts..he hit them with 8in and 155 hail storms..ouch! so far 8ball is doing well for an old(er) fart that is!

dead people are comming...and they dont know their dead yet!:mad:

Dang it! 8balls airforce is tearing me a new one!! :mad:

I lost another "super" to a F-80 and 2 SPRCTs to mustangs!:mad:

I killed a German Flamb'e with my airforce and lost another fighter to his quad 50s....:(

sure are alot of liberated Germans down south...I might have to call on some rockets to soften them up a bit...

so far a great battle with 8ball taking the lead..I hope I can recover from his coward airforce!

What can I say?

U.S.A.A.F ROCKS!!!

It seems like any time Jess pops a tank over a rise, the spotting unit radios coordinates to the FAO and a P-51 or F-80 screams down and blasts it into scrap iron.

I managed to damage a IS-4 with a Hellcat, causing the crew to bail. That's the only kill scored by ground unit thus far.

OTOH, his heavy mortars are starting to take their toll, more casualties reported.

It looks like he's sent a group along the south edge to deal with the Kampfgruppe. I spy a super tank leading what looks to be a platoon of M4's.

I lost 3-4-5-I lost count again this turn! And i see a horde of badguys comming right at me!

My airforce picked out a 60mmMrtJeep in the middle of Panthers! :mad:

shoot that pilot! ....ping.............another mother in the mother-land gets a letter of how her brave daughter died for the greater Russia!
