save error: cheat detected ?!!!

I finished the last mission of the rookie campaign and moved started the first mission of the Savannah campaign. But then I went back to an earlier saved game from the last rookie mission to see if I could do better. After finishing the mission I got the "save error: cheat detected" message.

This sucks! I don't have enough money to retrieve my jocks out of mission status.

Is there a way to get around this? I don't wanna have to start all over again.

Once you finish a mission, you can't play it again. Don't you have a save from the Savannah campaign you can go back to?

Yeah I have one saved right at the start of the first Savannah mission. But one of my titans is in piss poor condition and the jock is dangerously low on health. I didn't have enough money to get it fixed.

Only way I can salvage what I have from the Savannah mission is to flee the battlefield with my two healthy titans and eject the injured jock and then try to win the arena mission with only two titans until I have enough money to repair my titan. But will my injured jock heal while not participating in the missions?

IF he survives ejection, he will heal automatically after the battle. Notice that ejecting is a dangerous thing though, especially if the surrounding conditions are bad - in the middle of a firefight, fire, lava/acid, etc. Once he successfully ejects, he is safe though.
