Do I need to Patch?

Just bought and installed WitP version 1.8.00.1. I noticed a few bugs it has. Such as when I have transfered an air group to a base that contains a part of that airgroup already, instead of getting the display for the airgroup in the new location, I get a bogus (incorrect or maybe random data) air group screen.

The other puzzler is whe I want to transfer aircraft and select the "pick on map" option, sometimes when I cursor over a base I will get a part of the preceeding airbase list reappear blocking the selection of a base by clicking on the map.

Anyway, my question is: Do i need to install a patch for my 1.8.00.1 version to bring it up to the latest and greatest? If so, what patch should I look for and what ithe URL to get there? OK, that's two questions...

Yes, I would patch up to latest.
 
It's been a while, but from the top of my head the 1.8 patch is (almost) comprehensive, then you just stack on the 1.84 patch afterwards.  But you don't need anything before 1.8.
 
Sometimes there -are- display anomalies, but they usually aren't persistant.  Trying patching to most current, and see if you're still having problems.
