Tips on scenario editing

Post by Adraeth »

Let's share tips and ideas on making scenarios.

I noted that is better to have an AI deployment zone quite near the area the builder wants the AI to move or to secure. In defensive AI scenarios this is really simple, in AI advance scenarios it is better (for what i see by now) to have an AI deployment quite near the AI objectives.

Another interesting feature that i experienced for scenarios for solo play Vs AI is to have different deployment areas for the AI (the deploy #1) so at the start of the scenario the player can't understand the AI deployment.

Vs the AI......the Opfor will only use the Deploy #1 zones??? Correct or not?   Meaning if you want to be surprised as to where the OpFor forces start from.......One needs to place these #1 boxes in differing areas around the map....Correct?

It's important to concentrate VLs on defender's territory. It makes the AI move towards them.
