Question about Countries

WW2: Road to Victory is the first grand strategy release from IQ Software/Wastelands Interactive, which covers World War II in Europe and the Mediterranean. Hex-based and Turn-based, it allows you to choose any combination of Axis, Allied, Neutral, Major or Minor countries to play and gives you full control over production, diplomacy, land, air and naval strategy. Start your campaign in 1939, 1940 or 1941 and see if you can better the results of your historical counterparts. A series of historical events and choices add flavor and strategic options for great replayability.

Question about Countries

Post by Rekm41 »

Can you completely control more than one country? For example if your the Axis do you have complete control over the Axis minor allies and Italy? I remember in HoI you could take over the country but did not have control of their production and research etc.

Thanks

Yes, you can choose to control as many countries as you wish. And with the F1 function you can take control from the AI and give it back at will.

Thanks Jim for the quick reply. I thought as much but wanted to be sure. That was one of the things I did not like in HoI. I think I might just have to purchase. It kind of has the feel of War In Europe a game that used to take up a substantial amount of space in my basement. LOL

Thanks again
