Those 2 are the golden reserve. We love to send reports to Pravda like this: "was a piece of cake, our su76 forced the enemy to retreat". We remain in silence about the 900 kv's softening the germans first.

It looks as though GER has fielded something to attack the La7's?  Is the Me262 early?

The biggest air battle of the war continued as the VVS has struck back, destroying an axis airfield. German positions were air reconed and a gigantic trap in the centre was caught. Our heavy bombers softened the panzer korpses in the north side. Tilsit surrendered. Sadly rain came again.

Losses this week:

Axis/Soviet

1842/546
137/89
876/331
2628/2062

Savage GER losses. Losing more of everything ... they cannot win a war of attrition ... especially attrition against them .... i feel a collapse could be iminent

We fought in the air again this week bombing a Soviet airfield destroying 500 ac on the ground and 300 in the air for about 200 losses. We launched more bombing raids on this airfield but failed to do any large damage and losing about 100 bombers.

Axis/Soviet

We had no more power to strike back this week. VVS got a little rest. Rain continued, no action.

Germany has now made 3 very large errors this summer that has resulted in her defeat.

1, Her 1st clear turn she failed to bring up Pz divisions to the north to cut off and destroy 2 exposed Soviet tank armies.
2, After Germany's 1st clear turn and her defeat of the VVS the Luftwaffle defended too much of the front and exposed herself and she got bombed.
3, Very poor placement of her troops and Luftwaffle in the Lvov area doomed her largest army.

The Soviets have too many heavy bombers that can blast anything in its path. This make it stupid to stand anywhere without aircover with the only option being retreat or surrender.
