Splitting Air Groups Question

Post by MarkS »

I recently received two CVE's with no aircraft attached but with a capacity of 27 aircraft each. I had two available air groups to transfer to the carriers. Air group 'A' consisted of 27 Zeros and air group 'B' had 27 Vals (coincidence) .
I could not find a way to split the air groups so you guessed it; I have one CVE with 27 Zeros and one with 27 Vals. I don't think this is a very sound policy.
How could I have split the air groups into smaller units for transfer?

Hi

I have been thinking about this too and as far as I know there is no way to do this by choice which is a shame. I hope someone can prove me wrong because I sure would like this option.
