New Brit Auto convoy port?

Post by sw30 »

Posted elsewhere as part of a list of q's, but this one didn't get answered.

Is the British automatic convoy Calcutta or Bombay?

It's Calcutta. I had the misfortune to lose Calcutta to the Japanese during a PBEM game once, and it messed up my supply situation something fierce. (Not to mention the destruction of the aircraft factories). For my next PBEM game, my opponent actually offered a "house rule" that Calcutta could never be taken, but there had to be at least a division's worth of Allied troops there as a garrison at all times.

(BTW -- why am I still a "Matrix Recruit" after so many posts?)
Civil war? What does that mean? Is there any foreign war? Isn't every war fought between men, between brothers?

In 3.0 UK factories appear in "to Middle East" and supply appears in both "Calcutta" and "to Middle East".

Jeremy, where do the UK reinforcements appear in 3.0?
They used to appear in Calcutta - even if it was occupied. (I have racked up some easy kills THAT way!):D
