Denver WITP'ers?

Post by FeurerKrieg »

I didn't want to further hijack the Sig Banner thread, so I thought I'd start a new one.

Are any of the WITP players out there who live in the Denver area planning to go to Tacticon at the end of August?

On related note - who all around here is near enough to Denver to get together now and then? Maybe we can get a group together to play some board games now and then, or just have a beer and swap WITP tales.....[:D] My wife and kids eyes just look at me funny when I get all excited about my latest operation going off perfectly. I live less then an hour north of Denver.  Don't plan on attending the convention though.

Perhaps we could think of a game eventually since we would be in the same time zone.  I know that there at least 3-4 more people on the Forum who live in Colorado.

Yea, maybe a 2x2 AE game or something? Or maybe some other real-time games, those definitely benefit from time zone commonality.

You could say I'm near Denver...as I live 5 blocks from the capital. [;)]

No convention for me though...right now I'm doing good if someone slips so food under the office door once in a while. Image

I'm playing my first campaign. One player slot could be quartermaster and he'd be the busiest guy on the team.

http://www.denvergamers.com/sub/

that link should take you to the Tacticon info. If you go to Attactix in Aurora they will have event catalogs.

You can also print/view a PDF of the vent list on the webpage you posted above.

Nice to see a few hit on this thread.... grognards know the high ground is tactically better, so they all move to the Rocky Mountain state. [:D]

Although I can't say I'm a regular Thread tither (is that a word?), I still think it would be nice to get together.

If someone has a garage or a basement with no cats, we could play the board game version of War in the Pacific. [X(]

I live in southeast Denver, near the Cherry Creek Park.  I own a couple of big games, War in Europe, World in Flames, just currently not enough space to set them up.  I haven't played WITP in long time. I would be up for a game. Curse you small apartment!!
My home is Denver. It is awesome.

Nice to see how many there are of us.  I like the 2x2 idea when AE comes out...
