Hi,

Insulting matrix isn't beneficial to anyone. [8|]

Firstly, Starshatter is primarily a space fleet combat simulation, not a flight simulator, per se.

Finally, what ship(s) are you unable to use in the mission editor? Please be specific.

true but it dosnt change the fact that the game seems unfinished like they got it to work on th most primitive level then boxed it either or the main problom i have is in the mission editor both single and multiplayer when i add an element i am unable to name it and the game wont run the mission unless the elements are named i have tried just about everything the only thing that has worked is the destroyer match i was able to make the destroyers cruisers but i was hopeing to make a larger fleet engagment but no dice so far [&:]

slaydo,

OK, I know this may seem obvious but... when you edit the element, at the top is Name: with a box to its right.

Click in this box and then enter the name of your element. [:)]

you would think it was that simple when i click the name box nothing happens i cant imput anything at all it stays blank either the program or possibly the patch isnt working properly or the game itself is just garbage and was released unfinished and/or bugged either way i'll give it a litte more effort if it becomes to much of a hastle i'll just delete it and throw the CD in the trashcan where i think it belongs in the first place though i do thank you wdboyd for your help in the matter

Yea, but the game is broken and you people at Matrix don't give a fuck. Take the money and run.

How strange. I've encountered none of the problems described here in the year that I've had this game. In fact, I've actually enjoyed this game immensely. The flight model might not be the most realistic, but the space combat is far above par.

Polpolion,

It isn't actually strange. Any number of things could be causing the reported problems. From computer or graphics card limitations, a flawed copy of the game, to player ineptitude. Who knows.

I also have had no problems with the Starshatter:TGS game I purchased. I love using the games graphics engine for modding my own space combat simulations.

Oh, always remember, there will always be those that complain just be complaining. [8|]
