Does the game support PBEM or other forms of MP?

Is the PBEM door closed for good or is there any possibility that you could invest time to make this happen?

Could it be Pbem'd in a fashion similar to how the old DOS game "Clash of Steel" is pbem'd; you play your turn and instead of hitting "end turn", you save the file, send it to your opponent and then he hits "end turn" and plays his turn, etc.?

Barring that, pbem play mode has got to be considered. Even if you have created the most cunning of AI opponents, all human players will eventually figure out the style of play that it takes and find a way to defeat it and thus the game becomes useless. Wargames are meant as a way to match wits with one another, not play with oneself (IMHO) [:D].

Yes, I'm not sure I get this. A low-tech, turn-based, been-done-before game without multi-player? I'm not sure what market niche this game was designed for? Maybe a niche within a niche.....

Even the old board wargames were played solitaire over 70 percent of the time. More recent surveys confirm that this remains by far the preferred mode of play. PBEM is excellent, and I do it a lot, but I don't belittle the tastes of the large majority of wargamers without whose purchases none of us would have this hobby to enjoy.

I think with the advent of VASSAL, Cyberboard and other utilities, board wargamers and now (finally) able to enjoy pbem and live over the net play with others and certainly computer wargames have almost always enjoyed a great multiplayer experience, however I agree that the vast majority still play solo; however the point remains that to ignore the (also) large majority that primarily enjoys play with others is a mistake (IMHO).

Have to admit with the PBEM this would already be on the hardrive without it well it's a wait and see if PBEM is possible latter on. Pity because from what I'm reading this would be an excellent title to add to the collection

I was considering buying this until I noticed the lack of PBEM.

This game screams for pbem ability, without that ability it simply lacks appeal for me. If Hot-seat is already included you simply have got to add pbem.
