Fantastic! Looking forward to your photos/rapports.

PS since I’m helping Steve working on the AI I’m personally interested in
• The setup of both Major and minor countries.
• The attack on minors.
Detailes of the above could be a good help if you have a chance...

I'll do what I can pesk, but I have to make sure that there is an overall variety as the games come along, but given the situation at hand I will try to put some focus on that assuming that is part of your role in the development. Anyone else who is part of the development team, let me know if you have any requests also

I will be at the Con and will be taking photos and (once it's over) posting game reports of my game.

But I can't imagine being able to take other pictures or notes of other games. It's tough enough tracking your own week-long WiF game, never mind watching other people's. [X(]

This is just a rest to make sure that I did this correctly for my daily postings of the games. Yes, that is me you see there. As long as everyone wants to put a face to a name I guess, why not start here.
See all of you that are attending on Friday

I unfortunately forgot to bring a digital camera to the Con, which means no pictures from me. [:(]

Pretty well every table at the Con saw the Axis attempt to seize Gibraltar, either by overseas invasion/paradrop to align Spain, or by going through Spain, followed up if success was to be had, by a 1942 Barbarossa.

At one table (mine, unfortunately), the Axis first conquered England (brian brian posted pictures of this in another thread), which made their Gibraltar attack all the easier.

The bad news at my table (I was the CW player) is that first I and then the USSR player (WiF God Bill Duncan) had our rear ends kicked about (Bill's USSR was on the receiving end of 11-12 offensive chits from 1942-1945).

The good news is I get my name on some hardware anyway - the Dean Leuke memorial WiFmanship trophy (which often, but not always, goes to the guy who gets thrashed but sticks it out with as much grace and good humour as can be expected).

I fully expect Steve Balk and Paul Rae (our Axis opponents) to be in the running for the team & individual champion trophies, especially since our table was the only one to play through to July/August 1945.

Asking out of curiosity. In how many games did the axis in advance build for an all out 42' Barbarossa, Sea Lion or a bit of both?
Hit them where they aren't

Since the plan at most tables was the '41 Gib, I assume the Axis powers built those things they needed to fight the CW and invade places (NAV, FTR, sealift, ATR, marines, paras, MTN and such) for the 40-41 campaigns, and then used the extra production from still being at peace with USSR in 1941 to build up for the 1942 Barbarossa.

Certainly that was what took place at my table. German armour did not appear on the production spiral for the first game year.
