Unless the turn comes to me in the next 10 hours I'm away for almost a fortnight now and won't be able to play.
If you are desperate to keep the game moving if/when it gets to me feel free to change my password (i'm SW Front!) - I have upgraded to AT v1.20

Don't you feel bad leaving us here? Just hope that Barthheart leaves some of your division left for you to move around when you get back.[;)]

I hope you get a turn within the next 10 hrs, otherwise I wish you a nice holiday. Have fun.

Hey Guys,

I have the game. Sorry for the delay but I had a herd of in-laws land at my house last Thursday (holiday weekend in Canada) and haven't had a chance to do my turn. I'm at work today and will get it out at lunch.

The herd leaves tomorrow so shouldn't be more delays.

Turn 5 sent to SWFront.

Sorry all for the cheating message you will receive about Western Front. I did open my turn twice, after an electricity shutout occurs while I was playing my turn. I even loose my internet connection for an hour or so. Anyway.

Thanx all for playing!

I think the SW Front has taken 14 days R+R. Is someone going to play his turn or shall we wait for his return. Oh no that was Mac Arthur.
I don't mind waiting, even if I find it difficult.

Seems like Shambling Strider should play it. Ccr offered that option anyway. People will be out and not preventable. We need a back up plan and not wait.

What could be done is, if we're away for a longer period we could send our allies our password via email. But also inform the player who would normally send us the next turn who to send it to.

And once we are back on board post the info in the forum or send the person another email.

Would mean more work for the player who has to play 2 turns.

But that might work as a back up plan for the future.

Seems simple enough. Ccr mentioned something about changing his password in this case and not sure how that works.

Shambling would have to redo his turn. Also needs to have 1.2 patch installed.

Open the file he recieved last. Do his turn over. Before ending his turn goto the strategic screen and select CCR's front. There will be a button labled "pass" under the info displayed. Use that button to change CCR's password to whatever.

Then end his turn.

Then playe CCR's turn and forward the file to the next player.

When CCR comes back just give him the new passowrd.

Somebody knows when Ccr will be back?

If it's in short term, I'll don't play his turn. Ccr is way better player than me and I don't have any precise hints about his strategy. We're still at the beginning of the game and you all know that these first turns are very important for the rest of the game.

So, if someone knows something about the time of Ccr return, just tell it. If you all want me to play Ccr turn (and replay mine), Then, I'll try to do my best.

By the way, thank you Barthheart for the procedure explanation! That's alway's great to have a Matrix Legion of Merit member aboard![:)]

Hey, no problem.[8D] Oh and "Matrix Legion of Merit" just means I talk a lot![8|][;)]

I think CCR said above that he'd be away for a "fortnight" which is about two weeks.

I'm happy to wait but will go with the majority vote.

I don't mind waiting.
My Panzers need a bit of refueling and my Inf would welcome a little rest. In fact they might use the lull to sneak up on the dacha of uncle Joe.

No serious now, we are at the beginning of the game. CCR will have some kind of plan how he wants to play, wouldn't be quite fair to upset his plans. So we could just wait the few days.

Just see what the majority have to say.

Hi all,

Some news from Ccr : he will play his turn on 13th and then will be out for another week.

So, 3 more days and the game will be on track again. Thanx all for your patience! Based on central front, it will be a good game I think.

See you on the battlefield!

Can he then just give his PW to a team mate or is that not going to work for the next week? I get concerned as when these type of team games slow down, interest is lost, and people disappear.

Deerslayer,

I'll ask for it and some instructions about his strategy and will play his turn if he's not back in time. I agree with you that this game must keep his rythm to keep all players around.
