E Mail Manual

Post by markwojo »

I just ordered the game today and there is no telling when it will come in. I would be greatful if someone could email the manual to me. That way I can get a head start and jump right in when it comes in.
Thanks
Mark

Hi,

I sent a similar request to Erik a couple of days ago. I didn't want to post the request publicly and be branded a game copying, software developer paupering software thief ...

Judging by the lack of response, I would say that this type of request is frowned upon :(

Although I can't see the problem, as if we had pirated versions of the game then surely we would already have the manual

Don't worry mate it should be with you in a couple of days ... Hopefully mine will arrive today :)

Response...

Well, it is company policy not to send out any pieces of the game separately. To boot, I have a 56k connection so I'm not the best candidate to e-mail 5Mb files. Finally, I was just too busy to reply when your message arrived and afterwards it slipped my mind. Glad to hear you're about to experience the full game. :)

Regards,

Me Too

Post by trafix »

I also just ordered UV - I keep peeking out my door to see if the ups guy is going to show up, but alas, he does not. Should be in tomorrow I hope.

I too would like to get maybe a snippet of the manual to puruse whilst on my porcelan perch awaiting the arrival of UV.

I keep surfing the forum, trying to decifer any operational hints on gameplay, defintions, and such. Even some seemingly simple abbreviations are bugging me because I do not know what they mean. Like CL, DD, or TF - I assume they are classes of ships, but not sure. That's why I want to get my hands on some bits of the manual. arrrr...

If anyone can help me out, Email: trafix@sio.midco.net

thanks

p.s. Let me know if this is not a kosher request - i'll recind my request

Hi Erik,

No hard feelings mate. I only picked you to send the request too as you seemed to be the most prolific poster here.

I only posted on this thread to hopefully defuse and 'kill the warez guy' type replies :)

My copy of UV is now in my sweaty little hands and I'm reading like crazy ...

I know - patience is not my strong suit. I have survived, however, and UV has arrived today! I shall now retire to self-imposed solitary confinement to read the manual verse by verse.

Thanks
