CSC questions

Stupid question,

Can someone just explain to me how the CSCs are used. Do you still attach units to them and then attach that leader to the higher leader?

Do you attach more then one infantry leader? Is there a reason to do so?

When the option is selected, the rule isn't in effect until 1862. After that leaders with command points of 7 or more can attach other leaders. There are two levels of bonuses to units in battle, the Corps command bonus and the individual unit bonus. If one looks at the display, it tells when a Corps (7 command points or more) have a difficency regarding their divisional commanders. Note here that Crittenden has a -1 Corps Command, because his one divisional commander can only command one unit (no stars). A one star can command 2 units as a divisional commander, a two star can command three units. (see rules)
