Is anyone interested in playing me in the new senario by M4-Jess "Lehr at Omah" (download on main forum page). I don't care which side I play. I just want to try it out.

I have been ichen to try you out since you have slots this seems like a good time I will set it up and send it to you. I have not played the senario either so no peeking. This should be fun either way.

And so it begain. The largest amphibious assualt in world history. Through the machine gun fire. Through the anti tank gun emplacements. Through the Concreate bunkers. Through the artillary barageses. Through the sand and surf. Our Marines treked pulling dead and wounded with them. Up the beaches onto ther rocks, over the cliffs, overcoming the bluffs to push the enemy back. Back towards Berlin. Back to the Hell they had come from. It was ineveitable. First thing I noticed was... The Artillery! Good Lord! I've got a coupla units in the middle of nowhere, and they are getting nuked! I am going to redefine the word 'torture' when I capture the people who spotted my guys and picked up the phone...

Not alot of action. Machinegunned a coupla infantry units. Got nuked. Thats it.

On the move we had a slow start. But are hoping to pick up some speed. We have ran into some heavy mortar fire and will have to rally some of our chaps but nothing to major. With so much open space it is difficult to cover all areas of importance.

I'm getting slaughtered! Thats the sum of my turn. There are Americans EVERYWHERE! I managed to do really well in the north, but then a Crapload of Small Naval Guns blew my force to hell!

One of the towns is just about overrun, and the Eastern front defenders suck! No challenge for the attackers. Gonna lose all my 81mm mortars.

The Amercaners had set up this very nice ambush for the Vichy French Forces. Unfortunately for them they forgot how to target with their tank guns. Well let me tell you this we did not forget how to use our Navel Guns though.

ALL ACCROSS THE BEACHES THE FACISTS ARE BEING PUSHED BACK. TANKEN DOWN AS THE US SOLIDIFIES ITS BEACH HEAD.
Sone the French women will be singing Karioke to the American songs and naming their children Tom, Dick, and Harry.

I have surrendered! Wait, before you go off, listen!

I ended my turn, Gary took his, and I had no one left! In spots where there were 6 or 7 units before, there were ZERO! Thats several turns in a row of this!

Head. Brickwall. Not gonna do it!

At no time did I actually feel like I was fighting a battle. It felt like running as fast as possible, and not getting away.

Gary stomped me good! He was everywhere at once, and used his units well!

Goblin put it accruately. I would like to say that it was due to my vast experience and skill. But it was not. I had a tremendous amount of troops available and did not waiste them. Goblin is being overly generous. I do not think this senario is playable as a two player PBEM. I was conservatively aggressive and got lucky a couple of times, but it should have not been the blow out that it was if the senario was well designed for two players. I would like to know who play tested the senario. Neither of us had played the senario before so neither of us had the I know where the units are advantage.

My hat is off to Goblin for putting up with an what I would consider insurmountable odds. Sorry Goblin. I do not feel this was a fair fight for you.

Gary, a schoolin' is a schoolin', and I got taught but good! I did get reinforcements, but they were two Moebelwagens, and an FO! I was gonna take it to you with them, and decided to be nice.

I have now looked over the scenario from both sides! Whoa!

If I could have bought some more time, I would have gotten some **** good units to fight with. I believe Gary would have killed them as they came, however. If they came more at once, and sooner, maybe I could have fought back!
