Texture flip problem

Post by benpark »

I'm doing the last tests on some buildings, and I've noticed that the text is flipped on one structure with text (from both directions).

It wouldn't be an issue if there wasn't text, I suppose- but is it best to flip any texture in Photoshop before saving to a .dds file if the game flips them?

I've never come across it Ben, I'm pretty sure it's wysiwyg, especially both sides, one side is understandable but both must mean that it is flipped already before you even save it to .dds.

Hmmm. Very strange. This is what I'm seeing in the scene editor:

Ben,

I don't have the time to look at your model for the moment, but you can flip your textures in both the Y and X axis during the MS3D export process if you want to. That would fix your problem. Just remember to put the settings back when you do another model.

When I get some more time I will take a closer look.

Regards

S.
