Excellent news!

Birth of America 2: Wars in America is the much expanded reprise of veteran developer AGEOD’s acclaimed first release, which allows players to command either side of the conflicts before, during and after the American War for Independence between 1636 and 1815. Apart from the engaging turn-based strategy play that has been expanded and vastly improved over the original, Birth of America 2: Wars in America includes major new features like an improved and expanded map including the Mississippi River, new European off-map boxes (France, Great Britain, Spain, Holland) and more.

Excellent news!

Post by Gibbon »

I take this opportunity to be the first one to rejoice myself.

Wars in America on Matrix is one of the news I was expecting!

I'm waiting now for the official press relase. When will WIA be available? Shall I save on my vacations or not? [8D]
McClellan asked, "What troops are those fighting in the Pike?"
Hooker replied, "[Brigadier] General Gibbon's brigade of Western men."
McClellan stated, "They must be made of iron."

We're planning to release this as soon as we return from GenCon, so late August. The wait is due to the fact that the physical copy will have printed manuals and we're waiting to get those back from the printer.

Will you by any chance have it available at GenCon?

Very unlikely, unfortunately. Not impossible though.

Erik, Any chance we might see Napoleon's Campaign? I would prefer to get it from you.

Unfortunately, probably not in the near future. The publishing/distribution rights to that one are a bit more complicated in that a company other than AGEOD has to agree as well and we have not yet been able to secure their agreement.

It's an excellent game, better than BOA, the first one. I have played this off and on for three weeks and I love it. AACW is excellent too. [:)]
