German trade with neutrals

Post by EdinHouston »

I just wanted to clarify what trade benefits Germany can get from neutrals.

1) Germany can get raw material (no food) trade from Scandanavia, if they put 2 transports in the Baltic.

2) Germany gets trade from France if France surrenders, including (IIRC) raw materials and food. If Italy surrenders, does Italy also provide trade to the CPs?

3) Do other nations that dont enter the war (eg Holland) ever provide trade with the CPs?

4) When Romania surrenders, it seems to be incorporated into Austria-Hungary, and its resources are treated like any other indigenous AH resource hex, so I guess that doesnt count as 'trade'. Ditto for Belgium.

Thanks in advance for any help!

True

I went and looked at the code in case my memory was wrong again. No, Germany does not trade with a conquered France.

I was sure that a neutral Holland did trade with Germany in the game but I didn't find evidence of that.

True and true.
