losing PP with a garrison?

Post by polarole »

hi folks,

i just observed that it seems like you are losing a PP when a garrison loses a siege battle. it seems like it is considered 1 corps even though there is no corps present.
is this a feature of the pc game or a bug?

thx and bye

This should not be the case.
In siege battles the looser is not supposed to loose pps.
Gamelog it just says new pp values, although the loosing sides should not be changed.
So if the looser had 25 pp on the chart. Game log could still say lost battle new pp status 25, although it did not changed.

Question is how do you observe this, just from the gamelog with new pp standings or how ?

I would really like to see a save of this because it should NOT be happening.
Thank you

hi,

i have to check that back. maybe it is just misobservation, but my impression was that gamelog read:
1 corps vs 1 corps
russia new psa xy
turkey new psa xy
even though defender was only a garrison.
how can i check psa history?

bye

You really would have to look back down the history of the log. There really is no PSA history other than the documented changes in the log.

I think you will find, if you count the numbers, that:

* Attacker gains a PP if the city was a fort, or contained a corps.
* Defender gains a PP if the attacker breaks.
* Nobody ever loses a PP in a siege battle.

hi,

looks like it is working correctly just the text is misleading:
it says attacker russia 1 corps and defender turkey 1 corps even though its just a garrison.
