Question about Maximu Football Version 1

I would just like to comment that I was unsuccessful installing/running Maximum Football Version 2.27 on my computer. It was more then just one problem, I couldn't get all the components installed during the installation process. I guess us Windows 98 users with low end systems are out of luck with version 2.

BUT, I'm happy to say that I got Maximum Football Version 1.3149 running on Windows 98. Even though I can't seem to run Maximum Football V2.27, I'm still going to help out making utilities for version 1.3149 for Windows 98/2000 users. I was just wondering, should Matrix Games still keep Patch 1.3149 available? I was lucky to find a copy of it on the internet, and I think this was the last "Offical" patch before Version 2.0, shouldn't MG at least have that patch available to users that can only run version 1?

Yes, I have that patch and I did try installing it aswell. But unfortunetly for me, the PDS was almost impossible to use, but most of the other features in that patch seemed to work great. I don't know why just the PDS part of that patch was unworkable, I couldn't even load stock plays with it.

Maybe I'm wrong on this, but wasn't patch 1.3176 an "unoffical" patch?
