Different versions of Europe 39 scenario

Hi, I was trying to get a PBEM game of europe 39 started, but notice several versions (b,f,j,k), in the directory. Is there a balance difference or something else between these, or are they just newer versions?

Bugs and balance issued fixed in later versions.
So use the latest (k i think).
