so you get 1 hit every second month with a production rate of 9/month. Did you adjust your production?

I've never seen more than 2 or 3 ohka hits. They are devastating.

Scuttled 3 BB's in Karachi!!! What's up with that?

I have yet to score with one but I have a game where I have stockpiled nearly 100 and I would love to get even a few hits with them. Do you have any advice or observations on how to maximize the chances for a successful attack?

This is indeed an AI game, it had to scuttle a lot of ships at Karachi to "prevent capture"...

In this game ongoing from december 7'th (VERY HARD) i have captured everything west of midway and I am now at 6/45.....

I think that most hits where made by my 91 exp Betty group based at Suva/Tarawa, high exp helps (I think)...

Btw, how can you see how many Ohka's are are in stock, I know I am producing 11 a month but can't seem to find my stockpile data ?

Yeah - we established a while back that the 9/month was a "typo" for 90/month ... also there was a bug which allowed 4 Okha to fly if insufficient ohka were in the pool, this got fixed in 1.8.0.6 IIRC ... it was these 4 flying for many strikes that gave the impression that none ever hit. If you strike with 20-30+ Okha you will get some hits, especially if the EXP level is 80+ ... these things were demonstrated back during one of the debates. The production level should be fixed. I'll try to remember to hard code that at least - in the next patch to stock - which will be released at the same time as AE.

Good news about the patch ... and you can't adjust Okha production anyway. Depends on the mod, but usually available around the beginning of '45 ...

Yeah ... I didn't really think Castor didn't know this. So if you are playing a mod, I'm playing Empires Ablaze and the production rate is 30 ... Is the number produced * 10 ? So 300 / Month ?

If we hard code 90/month - then for the device in that slot - it will be 90/month regardless of what is in the editor file.

I've scored with them a lot in my early Feb 1945 campaign with Paul Layne.  They are fun to watch being launched at helpless ships from Betty crews of 75-80 experience!  Pretty much one-hit, one-kill against AK/AP/DD.  Gotta like that...

ahh, now that you tell me I think I can remember that change in a patch. But those 9/month were so long in my brain that I´m just used to bitch about it! [;)]
