Anyone know of a place I can download his scn for Normandy. Was looking at the AAR forum, WOW. Is it compatible with JTCS?

That isn't just a scenario, that's a mod. In the mods and scenarios forum, look for 'JTCS meets PG3D' (or something like that). I think there's a link where you can download the mod, not sure about that specific scenario. It is impressive, isn't it?

No, I haven't played it. I've been too busy playing with all the new features in 1.03 and 1.04. I'm pretty sure Juggalo has played it and of course, Dumnorix. They should be able to answer any questions you have about it.

From what I've read, the play level is roughly battalion-level as opposed to the platoon-level used in Campaign Series. It uses the CS game engine but has the look of the old Panzer General series, which is what I cut my teeth on. [:D]

It's not a mod, unless I'm mistaken he means to charge for this, no idea how this should be called then, but definitely not a mod.

Maybe it's just a matter of semantics. [;)] I would still call it a mod because it's the JTCS game engine that has been heavily modified. And I don't believe that he can charge for it because of copyright issues, but hey, I've been wrong before. [:D]

I did some checking and it seems that you can download a demo but if you want the whole thing, you basically make a trade by creating some of the battle maps as part of his design team. So I guess you can call it whatever you like. [8D]

Yes, it's a mod that runs on West Front.

No, you don't have to do any work for him to play the thing, but to get the full experience you must play him in an e-mail game because he edits visibility, day/night, weather, and airstrike availability through the .bte file.

We're playing Normandie, and up to turn 102 (of 250!).
The game started in 1.02, so my Allies advanced pretty fast with the old assault rules.
However, I would think with the new 1.04 assault rules it would flow at a more historical pace.

Despite some minor OOB issues (where's my AA units Balck?[8D]), I can heartily recommend it. It's been the most fun I've had wargaming since playing the original Panzer General.
