US CC's were similar to German Kampfgruppen, small units of combined arms. The German formations were more of an ad hoc nature than the US ones but the principles were the same.

I'd have thought the stats for exp morale and the leadership stats would be a little higher for a MTO/ETO veteran division.

Remember that the US Army had a point system, which meant that a very large number of veterans were removed from the units scheduled to transfer from the ETO to the PTO and replaced by green troops. It would have adversely affected their combat capability.

The Marines fielded their tanks in separate battalions, and that's what we're doing too. As for the Mortar Motor Carriages, we've got them, but they're in Army armoured units.

We have the 75mm Gun Motor Carriage, but it's only in the 1943 and 1944 TO&E's, so that's why you're not seeing them. The 1942 TO&E has towed 75mm guns and the 1945 TO&E has M7's in that slot.
