finally decided to man up and buy the game. I've waited for a good WW1 game ever since I've started playing games, and I'm pretty sure that this one won't let me down.

Thanks to everyone who helped answer all of my questions! Hopefully I won't have too many more.

I just bought it too a few days ago and I'm really enjoying it, very addictive and good fun.

Good decision guys.  This game just ate up my weekend!(and still France won't fall!) :)
 
Might I also suggest getting the counter mod listed in the matrix members forum..I believe it is the Ironx counter mod, not the one that comes with the newer patches as the "alternative graphics".

yeah, I've got the new map with IronX's counters. Took me a while to figure out where to put what, but I have to say I'm digging his mod.
As for France not falling, I'm having a hard enough time keeping it going.

Yes, I use the "alt" graphics map and the Ironx counter mod....works good!
