Abandoned Games...

Post by Goblin »

To my opponents in slots 5,8,12...

I am going to consider these slots as abandoned games soon. I need save slots, and am not going to wait.

No need to name names, you know who you are. Slot 5, I will give you an extra day or two.

would you care to get another one going,

me soviets,you germany,1943,meeting,medium map,1200 each.
200 max arty spend.no additional arty allowed in group purchases.(ie,if that company comes with extra arty youve gotta figure it into your two hundred points.)
no air, everything on except command and control, true troop/rarity on,limited ammo on.all troop quaitys, etc on 100 percent.victory frontage on or off.

I have two computers and one internet connection, and a non fuctional networking system, so you may end up sending me a turn twice if I'm on the wrong computer getting the e-mail.

Ok. Really low points for a medium map. The only thing I disagree with is True Troop ON/Rarity ON. I like True Troop On/Rarity OFF. It makes no sense to by a unit of FJ or somesuch, and get 2 squads, yet have all the MG's for the whole company. I think two players can control themselves and not go nuts on the rare stuff. I also do not like reduced squads, but I am flexible on that one.

Ok rareity off fine,I like playing with small amounts of troops in larger maps, makes it seem more like true countryside.
And youve got to carefully consider troop placment.

well, I'm sorry u ran out of patience for I once I got back from the trip I made things very interesting. If you rememeber slot 8, fall'42. Your Tiger led forces were crushing my scattering forces. Well, just to let you get a taste of things that happened since I got back: you are missing 2 Tigers and 2 T-34 (cpt.). If you care to find out what happened, let me know your email address and I will email you the file. Just to add insult to injury besides being swamped on the trip my HD where I keep the files got screwed up so I lost your email. Anyway, I enjoyed the game a lot.

Thanks.

Red! Good to hear from you. That's bad news for me! I just finished a draw with MacCready in slot 8. Send the file so you can finish beating the tar out of me.

If you are desiring to fill up another email slot and having trouble finding an opponent, I would be honored if you considered me. I'm relatively new to the game, but am learning. I would not abandon a game, no matter how bad it's looking(I'm not afraida no stinkin' adversity). If interested, just give me a yell.
