Upgrades

Upgrades

I was wondering if all new versions of HCE are going to be released as patches (ala 044 ) or whether they will actually morph into a formal upgrade released by Matrix ?

You mean a formal upgrade that Matrix charges for?  Hopefully that doesn't happen for a long time! 
 
If you mean released as a non-beta; yes, I think we just got forgotten and I haven't bothered to prod anyone to rename 2008.044 from a beta to a release.

I was thinking more along the lines of,

"Will we need to install each patch individually, or can we just get the latest patch that will be an amalgam of all previous patches?"

If the patch name includes comprehensive it can be applied to any version 2007.000 or newer.  So the 2008.044 comprehensive patch can be applied to 2007.000 or 2008.024 and fully bring you up to 2008.044.
