tank resurrection

Post by Philippe R »

Hello,

I have to report a strange,if not nice for me, bug.
Playing a meeting engagement PBEM, germans vs russians, I lost one Las762, having sent and received back the files, when i opened the game, i was really surprised to see that,
next to my destroyed panzerjager and its crewmen, was a brand new one Las762 with th same designation.
And by the way, i'm using the version 2.3
Thanks for the great game.

Philippe, I have not seen that happen, but in v4.0 sometimes squads or crews get their losses replaces when you restore a saved file.

Hello Phillipe.

You really should upgrade to version 4.0/4.1 once you finish the PBEM game. A lot of the bugs you will experience with 2.3 have been addressed, the game play & graphics make it a whole new game (really). Given that you have verion 2.3, you need to lay your hands on the 4.0 patch (rather than the whole game) then patch it again with the 4.1 patch.

You will not be sorry Image

I strongly echo Bonzo's suggestion. They are like two different games, really. 4.0 is a must to eliminate a lot of these problems. That is one of the reasons we spent nearly three months on it.
