War Plan Orange freezes on start-up

I just bought and installed WPO, complete with the latest patch, on my machine. I'm runing Vista. The game installed OK. When I run it, the game loads and gets as far as playing the Matrix Games and 2 by 3 intro videos and then stops responding while some horn music plays in the background. Has anybody run into this before?

It's a known issue. Go into your WPO installation folder and rename the VIDEO subfolder to NOVIDEO. That should take care of it.
