On the full map one of the icon will select showing Supply.  On the Unit Screen if you place your cursor over the Supply number next to the wagon symbol you will see how much is in Depots and used by your army.  When you select a combat unit so the Action Tool bar shows on the right the top icon of a wagon shows how much excess supply you have to do things like build forts, convert cavalry and make depots with.

Thanks for the quick reply. I have a few follow ups.

1. (On the full map one of the icon will select showing Supply) I thought this icon pressed just shows supply wagons.

2. (On the Unit Screen if you place your cursor over the Supply number next to the wagon symbol you will see how much is in Depots and used by your army.) I still dont see it. What supply number. Where is it located?

3. (When you select a combat unit so the Action Tool bar shows on the right the top icon of a wagon shows how much excess supply you have to do things like build forts, convert cavalry and make depots with) I think I see this. Would this number apply to the region or just to the particular unit?

thanks.

On 1, it shows where supply is in regions. I believe this is mainly important from the point of view of capture and the supply net. If the enemy captures a region that showed it to have say 40 supply then you lose that amount. I am not sure if the enemy gains it. Any unit that can trace a supply line through the net can draw on that region for supply.

2. The Military Force Screen (F3) shows a summary of all units. The number next to the wagon symbol is the total supplies for your side. There is a pop up box that comes up when you place the cursor over this number. It shows the total supplies on map, the supplies in depots and the supplies required for troops. Is described on page 38 of the manual.

3. It's the total available. You will see this number decrease as you use supplies for building forts, etc.
