Well i'll be ..

Post by sfinlay »

I downloaded the huge Overlord scenario some time ago but under 1.02/ 1.03 it always crashed on startup. Since no one else had reported a similair problem I put it down to my system being at fault and left it at that.
This morning I fired it up for the first time under 1.04 and hey presto ! so far so good. (I've closed and restarted a few times and even saved a turn succesfully)
The only thing that's changed is the patch. I neither know nor care how or why it now works but it does and thought I would share this and thank the Gods of War.

Can't remember where I got it from but it is 1250 turns, covering the first 25 days from landings to "Epson".

Files are OVERLORD.scn, overlord.map, overlord.org and overlord.bmp

I can send you them if you like. You know my e-mail address.

Hi dawg

You can find it here

http://www.wargamer.com/gamesdepot/

Matrix games appear on the list on the left of the screen.

Hope this helps.

Keep in mind, these types of things are best played against another human.

HAL has little to no "operational" abilities.
