Well in essence they are. Naval HQs have naval support points. Ships crew (in its simplest terms) count as Nav support when repairing their own ship.

That would be a bad thing in my case, considering I rarely give my ships port time...talk about some tired, grumpy crews. [X(]

Should not be an issue for the Japanese. The IJN sailors were used to be driven hard - the popular proverb was "The IJN operates eight days a week".

Is this modelled in AE? Or is this another AFB conspiracy to disadvantage the IJN? [;)]

A new device was added....the "Soda Fountain" If installed aboard a ship.....it gives the ship a major morale advantage similar to but more effective to the device "USO Show"

I knew it! It's an AFB game!

I want Geisha Houses modeled as a new factory type improving morale, or AE is biased!

Then the IJN should have a 'sake bonus' - the USN was 'dry'. [:'(]

Then the AFBs surely want a 'bomb Geisha House' special mission for VMF-214 (see Boyington: Baa, Baa Black Sheep). [;)]

Knowing Baa Baa Black Sheep, that would be a "Get Bombed at a Geisha House"

True, but AFAIK Pappy flew a mission to hit the Geisha House at Rabaul, no? But has been some time I have read the book, might confuse this...

The sailors might..., but if you try to drive the ships that hard you SHOULD end up with broken-down hulls all over the Pacific. Refits and Yard periods are a necessary part of any ships maintainence ever since engines replaced sail.
