Well, to just make some parts and slide them around to fit different field sizes is definately possible, but....I prefer to make the stadiums either one or the other. It's just easier for me to decide how I want it to look, then build it to fit the one field size.
Plus, I play the 50yd field more than the others, so im trying to build up a collection of about 10. Some of my older ones are a bit too small for what I want to do, so thats why i've been making them bigger.
Very nice,
we have a local park not too far away from us called East Park.
I get where your coming from Gary,
I do alot of stuff for Canadian Football because thats how I play the game
and havnt made much for anything else, a little but not alot.
I'm going to download this one and see if I can manipulate it for Canadian Football
as part of my learning process, if you dont mind that is.
The stadium is very modular. The biggest single piece is the double deck side/end seating. It shouldnt be hard to manipulate it to fit a CFL field. The textures will need resizing.
As for why I build for one or the other, as Mykal mentioned, he plays CFL and thats where his interest lies. I have more fun with the indoor game. And I like a variety of stadiums, indoor and out, and I also wanted them to fit. And from what I see, there's a lot of guys interested in the 8 man game, so the user base is there to share my creations with.
Between all the stadium creators, I think there are still more stadiums for US/CFL fields, im just trying to tip the balance .
