Wargamers of all countries unite!

John Tiller's Campaign Series exemplifies tactical war-gaming at its finest by bringing you the entire collection of TalonSoft's award-winning campaign series. Containing TalonSoft's West Front, East Front, and Rising Sun platoon-level combat series, as well as all of the official add-ons and expansion packs, the Matrix Edition allows players to dictate the events of World War II from the tumultuous beginning to its climatic conclusion. We are working together with original programmer John Tiller to bring you this updated edition.

Wargamers of all countries unite!

Post by The real Scipio »

Gentlemen,

I've dedicated a website to H2H and especially PBEM wargaming and I'm very pleased to invite you to the United Wargamers Website @ http://www.unitedwargamers.net

Most important feature is of course the unique challenge system and database which works as simple as a forum,
but has some additional advantages like the option to get informed by email about new challenges for your most prefered wargame(s).

Of course there's also a forum to discuss all important things in a wargamers life - the best games and scenarios,
the best beer while playing, how to get rid of wife and children if they keep you away from the computer etc etc...

Well, I guess you should simply take a look on the new site!
Please do not hesitate to post a lot of challenges and use the forum!

I look forward to welcome you!

This is just a suggestion. Campaign Series is referred to as "Talonsoft's Campaign Series." You might want to change it to "Talonsoft/Matrix's Campaign Series." The latter designation leaves the reader no doubts as to the scope or version of the game being discussed. Or perhaps just "John Tiller's Campaign Series."

Yep, thanks for the hind.

Allow me to mention that United Wargamers generally also support Divided Grounds!? It belongs to the original CS series, but is not part of the Matrix Games release AFAIK. :)

But then you could incorporate the historical period 1930-2000 and the nations, all the classical conflicts (korea, vietnam, middle east etc) of this era become theoretically playable through that engine......you are all awesome !!!!!!! [8D]

flabbergasted

I'm sorry, but I don't understand what your Website provides that is not currently incorporated into either the Matrix Games or Blitz sites? [&:]

Currently, I can look for CS opponents, utilize scenario databases, view player rankings, post to discussion forums, upload new H2H scenarios for testing, search archives, download player aids, read post game reports, get alerts when persons respond to my threads, etc. from either the Blitz and / or the Matrix Game Websites.

Not trying to be argumentative, but maybe I'm missing something here? Can you enlighten me please? [&:]

I think it is great to have another site that supports the game. Good work , keep it up. It is nothing short but very helpful to the game and series. More choices, more reference, more fun.
Thanks

Well, I have never said that I do offer something that other sites do not offer, have I? [:)] But I try to present things in a little different way. [;)] But anyway, if you don't like my site, why bother?

A bit of competition is great for the game....more sites better choices...better game play....I find with more diversification comes better enhancements and less intimidation...great job...keep it up
