Sieges and Gunboats - Question?

Post by Leeds »

I am new to the game but enjoying it thus far.....question regarding Sieges and Building Forts.

How do I add ground units (including Artiller) to an ongoing Siege? How do start a siege with or add to with Gunboats?

Lastly, I presume I cannot build a fort if the option is not available in the Engineer pull down?

Thanks

Attach the gunboats to the container that is in charge of the siege.

For example, the Corps or Army or to the Siegeworks?

I thought if they were just in the same province they would help out. I have to attach them?

Just having them in the province should be enough.
They will then automatically participate in the bombardment of the fort.

That is right, you do not have to attach them. But if you do you do not have to worry about the gunboat's movement.
And to the Division, Corps or Army.
