Where is Lenin?

It is Sept 1918. The Russians have been "weak" for over three years. They been short of food since the first turn. They have received no help from their allies. They have no fleets, no ports, no industry. Novgorod is their largest remaining city. But still no revolution!

That seems to be an extreme situation. Frank would probably be interested in this.

I'm rather new at this just having some five games under my belt but I have not been able to figure out what actually causes Kemminski (sp?) to take over from the Tzar. On one occasion, the rebellion happened while Russia was in fine shape ("good") and another it seemed to take forever with Russia "wavering". Anyway, is it at all possible that you missed the Russia in rebellion message some time ago and Kemminski won? [&:]

No.  There was no Revolution.

Hmmm; I have no answer - my current game has been ruined (if interested, see the "support" section discussion on 1.2.4 screwing up the naval game) so I have time; I'll try a search too; maybe I'll come up with something even though you didn't. It sure seems like Lenin is still in France or something and there should have been a revolution.

Status: offline To trigger the Revolution morale does not need to hit 0. That is a separate formula although there's no chance of a Revolution if Russia is doing well.

If the Russian morale hits zero during the period of uncertainty the Bolsheviks win. In game terms there's no difference with a regular surrender.

I was hoping you'd get a definitive answer on this. At the very least, Russia should have surrendered normally even if a revolution hadn't been keyed by a total take over (somehow).

Naskra, I think that what happened there is kind of extreme but, and I'm just going from memory, still within the bounds of how I wrote it. Russia is either getting consistently good "dice rolls" or has been able to remain just above the point where "dice rolls" can have any effect.
