Brand new and easy question.

SPWaW is a tactical squad-level World War II game on single platoon or up to an entire battalion through Europe and the Pacific (1939 to 1945).

check to see if you have firewalls up
with all the new security stuff in windows, the firewalls can sometimes block online game connections

Alby's probably right... Firewalls can prevent communication in SPWAW games.

My friend and I play online each week.  Everything worked fine until I went wireless.  Then we were blocked.  (It seems to me that his machine could find find the IP of my modem, but become "confused" when it tried to get past my router and wireless access point.)  The work-around we use is for me to bypass the wireless and "hardwire" into the modem.  That does the trick for us.

(By the way, we also use "Roger Wilco" to permit us to talk to each other during play.)

Good luck!
