Kharkov Scenario

Post by sabre1 »

So how does the Kharkov scenario in TOAW compare to the new game from SSG, for those of you who have both games?

I don't have the SSG release, so I can't comment on the comparison, but I guess it depends which TOAW Kharkov scenario you compare with? There are at least two that ships with the game. I posted an AAR some time ago from a PBEM of one of them, but it has for some reason disappeared from the AAR forum ([&:]).

And a rather stupid movie made from screenies just for fun: http://www.kodapa.com/WitP/kharkov/KharkovAARMovie.wmv (11 MB)

Maybe you can get some input for the comparison from this?

I know a little about Kharkov but probably not enough to help you out. I may be wrong (don't shoot me people) but I have Battlefront from SSG and I think Kharkov is just a fancy add-on to BF even though they say the system is different (i.e. game engine etc). That was one of the reasons I didn't buy it. If you want to know about the game systems, their totally different like apples and oranges. Hope this helps some. Cheers!

But your AAR stops part way through the battle and the last enties are gibberish.

?????????

Lots of AARs do not finish but I'm surprised you bring it up again.

Who doesn't love the "One of these things is not like the others" game!

1. (One is in Japanese guess already taken)

2. One is in black & white!

3. One has a logo!

"Lose" is the opposite of "win." "Loose" is the opposite of "tight."
